This is the first hairless cat that’s been on Men and Cats! Doug’s wife, Cody, sent in this photo of Doug with her aunt’s cat, Birta, in Iceland. Cody says Birta is always cold “cuz she’s gots no hairs!” Good thing Doug kept her warm inside his shirt.

Famous Men Who Love Cats: Russell Brand loves his cat, Morrissey
Awww! Who knew that Russell Brand, the rather raunchy British comedian best known in the U.S. for his role in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall, loved cats so much? Apparently, he talks about his cat all the time, and Lindsay Lohan tried to get on his good side by sending him a cat – but he said no thanks, because his heart already belongs to his beloved cat Morrissey! And what a cute name for a cat… I love it.
(I’m sorry I don’t know who to credit this photo to – my sister sent it to me, and it’s floating around the web in various places. If anyone knows, feel free to tell me).
Lola, L-O-L-A, Lola

Jim and Annalise
Jim adopted Annalise from a shelter after his wife’s cat of 15 years had suddenly passed away. Jim and his wife saw the lovely Annalise, a Snow Shoe Siamese, at a shelter when she was less than a year old. Jim says, “I went and got her out of her 2nd story cat apartment and knew she was the one. An hour later, at home I put her under a ‘blanket fort’ on the couch so she could get her bearings. Since then I’ve become a ‘Mom’ of sorts to her and she adopted me … and I don’t mind a bit.” Annalise will turn 3 years old this December. What a happy “tail” for Annalise and Jim!
