Who knew Texas was home to so many men who love cats? These cuties are Jamie and Sally May (I think it’s obvious who is who). According to Roxy, Jamie’s fiance, Sally May likes to sleep with her head tucked into Jamie’s or Roxy’s chin. Adorable!

Today’s featured man and cat is Mike and Poozy – or rather, a represenation of Poozy. Mike, the man behind the Infinite Cat project, says “My girlfiend of lo these many years created, for my birthday, a textile-art version of a photograph I took of my cat, Poozy, playing ‘dress-up’ (see http://infinitecat.com/extras/poozy-do.html). I entered the art at the Texas State Fair and it won a blue ribbon. So the picture I’m sending you is of me at the fair in front of the winning artwork. As Poozy, in real life, is a just a black ball of fluff – this is about the best picture you’ll get of her anyway.”

Nice work! Menandcats.com agrees that it deserved the blue ribbon indeed.

OK, sorry for the lame pun. But here’s another one, featuring my pals Howard and Meridian.

I’ve been playing around with ComicLife (software that came with my Mac) and I’ve been making comics out of – what else? – pictures of men and cats. Here’s one of my friend Gerald and his favorite kitty, Baxter. Gerald reports that Baxter just got a self-cleaning litterbox, but is having trouble adjusting to it. Stay tuned for updates. Anyone else have any experiences with auto-clean litterboxes?
